CWWDA is recruiting two Engineer I (Mechanical) officers. The position focuses on preparing detailed design drawings and specifications, repairing and maintaining motor vehicles, plants and machinery, inspecting equipment, verifying spare parts and preparing valuation and plant specifications.

Job Description and Duties
Duties and responsibilities will entail:
- Preparing detailed design drawings and specifications.
- Repairing and maintaining motor vehicles, plants and machinery.
- Carrying out repair work on motor vehicles and machinery.
- Inspecting motor vehicles and plants and recommend necessary repairs; recommending motor vehicles and plants for boarding.
- Verifications of the required spare parts for motor vehicles and machinery; preparing valuation reports on motor vehicles as required.
- Preparing motor vehicle and plant specifications.
Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
- Cumulative service period of three (3) years’ relevant work experience at the grade of Engineer II or in comparable position.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
- Registration with Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) as a Graduate Engineer.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
