Hi, I’m Bonface Juma, the founder of AscendurePro.
For more than 10 years, I’ve helped students and young people make important decisions about education and careers. I’ve guided high school students through university course selection and applications, coached students on career planning, and helped first-year university students navigate applications for university funding and loans.
The results have been encouraging. More than 99% of the students I’ve guided through university applications have secured one of their preferred courses.
Those experiences have shaped how I think about career decisions. Good advice can make a real difference, especially when someone is making a decision that could affect the next several years of their life.
Why I started AscendurePro
The world of work is changing quickly. New industries are emerging, technology is changing how people work, and employers are looking for skills that were not as important a few years ago. At the same time, remote and international opportunities have changed what is possible for many professionals.
Yet a lot of career advice still sounds the same: update your CV, apply for more jobs, take another course and follow your passion.
I wanted to build something more useful.
AscendurePro brings together career research, job-market information, practical tools and personal career support. The aim is simple: help you understand your options before you make a major career decision.
That might mean choosing a career for the first time, changing industries, finding better-paying work, moving into a growing field or preparing for opportunities outside your home country.
Your past experience still matters
A career change does not mean throwing away everything you’ve built.
Your education, skills, experience and professional relationships can often give you a head start in a new field. The challenge is figuring out where they fit and how to present them to a different employer or industry.
That is an important part of the work I do through AscendurePro. I help people look at what they already have, understand where the opportunities are and work out what needs to change.
What you’ll find here
AscendurePro covers careers, industries, salaries, skills, education, employers and changes in the job market.
I research topics using sources such as government data, company information, industry reports, professional organisations, academic research and labour-market information. I also pay attention to when information was published because a figure or trend that was useful two years ago may no longer tell the full story today.
You’ll also find practical tools and resources to help with career planning, job searching and professional development.
And when you need more than information, I offer career transition services for professionals who want personal support as they make a move.
Who AscendurePro is for
I primarily built this platform for professionals who want to move forward but aren’t always sure what that should look like.
You might be considering a career change, looking for better pay, moving into a growing industry, exploring remote work or thinking about international opportunities. You may simply be unsure which skills are worth your time and money.
You don’t need to have the answer before you come here.
Sometimes the first step is simply understanding your options.
Where I’m taking AscendurePro
My goal is to build AscendurePro into a trusted career resource for people navigating a changing world of work.
That means better research, useful tools and practical support. It also means being honest when the available information is limited, when a recommendation depends on individual circumstances, or when there is no simple answer.
I don’t want AscendurePro to be another website telling you which career is supposedly “the best.”
I want it to help you figure out what makes sense for you.
