Job Description
The Central Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency (CRVWWDA) seeks a self-driven, result-oriented, and highly motivated Kenyan citizen to fill the position of Senior Office Administrator (Job Grade CRV 6). This is a re-advertisement and replacement vacancy.

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer / Deputy Director – Administration
Duty Station: Nakuru, with occasional support to Agency offices in Baringo, Laikipia, Narok, and Nyandarua counties.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise the Agency’s office administration functions, including front office operations, records management, and general office services.
Manage the CEO’s and senior management’s diaries, travel arrangements, and meeting schedules.
Prepare official correspondence, memos, reports, and minutes of meetings as assigned.
Supervise the maintenance of office assets, equipment, and stationery inventory; ensure optimal utilisation.
Liaise with service providers (cleaning, security, courier, and maintenance) to ensure smooth office operations.
Oversee the filing, retrieval, and disposal of documents in compliance with the National Archives and Documentation Services Act and Agency policies.
Coordinate logistical arrangements for workshops, board meetings, and stakeholder events.
Supervise junior administrative staff, including office assistants and clerical officers.
Ensure compliance with public service administrative guidelines, including confidentiality protocols.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration (Management option), Office Management, or a related field from a recognised university.
Diploma/Certificate: A diploma in Secretarial Studies (e.g., KNEC Secretarial Management, Certified Public Secretary – CPS) is an added advantage.
Computer Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic knowledge of office automation systems.
Experience: At least four (4) years of relevant administrative experience, with a minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory or senior office administration role in the public or private sector.
Knowledge: Understanding of public records management, government correspondence protocols, and the Public Officers Ethics Act, 2003.
Skills: Excellent organisational, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; attention to detail; ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
