AscendurePro Community Charter
Last reviewed by every member at sign-up, recruiter approval, or availability opt-in.
This Charter is a shared commitment between AscendurePro and you. By using our platform — and especially by applying to become a Recruiter or marking yourself Available for Hire — you agree to the standards below. Breaches may lead to credit forfeiture, account suspension, or removal without refund. Where local law imposes stricter duties, those laws prevail.
This Charter operates alongside our other legal documents. You also agree to and are bound by:
- our Terms of Use,
- our Privacy Policy,
- our Disclaimer, and
- contact us at Contact Us for any clarification.
1. Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
You agree to keep confidential any information you encounter on AscendurePro that is not publicly published. This includes:
- Personal data of other members (names, email addresses, LinkedIn URLs, locations, employment history shared in resumes or assessments).
- Recruiter contact details, internal hiring notes, salary ranges, and unposted roles.
- AI-generated outputs that contain another member's personal background.
- Any commercial, technical, or strategic information disclosed by AscendurePro to you.
You will not copy, share, scrape, republish, sell, or pass this information to third parties without explicit written permission. This duty survives the termination of your account.
2. Member Commitments
By using AscendurePro, you commit to:
- Provide accurate information about yourself (resume content, work history, current role, target role, skills).
- Use the platform only for lawful career development, networking, hiring, and learning.
- Treat every other member — staff, recruiter, candidate, learner — with respect and dignity.
- Respect platform rate limits, credit costs, and intended use of every tool.
- Notify us immediately if your account is compromised, or if you discover a vulnerability.
- Not impersonate another person, organisation, or AscendurePro itself.
3. Recruiter Commitments
If you are an approved Recruiter, in addition to the member commitments you also agree to:
- Post only real, currently-open positions with truthful titles, locations, and descriptions.
- Disclose your real company affiliation accurately on your recruiter profile.
- Never request money up front from candidates for any reason — application fees, training fees, equipment, "processing", or "background checks" charged to the candidate.
- Never demand sensitive personal documents (passports, banking details, full ID numbers) before a legitimate offer stage.
- Treat candidate data accessed via AscendurePro (resumes, contact info from the Talent Directory) with full NDA discipline as in Section 1.
- Not contact any member through the Talent Directory who has not opted in to recruiter contact, and not retain or resell that contact information.
- Respond to candidates with basic professional courtesy — even a "no" is preferable to silence.
4. Declaration Against Unethical Acts
You declare and affirm that you will not use AscendurePro to engage in, facilitate, advertise, or promote any of the following:
- Fraudulent job postings — fake roles, ghost jobs, MLM/pyramid schemes, get-rich-quick schemes, "investment" recruitment, or any role that does not match what is advertised.
- Child labor — any role offered to or filled by a person below the legal working age in their jurisdiction. We have zero tolerance for this and will report violations to the relevant authorities.
- Human trafficking, forced labor, or exploitation in any form, including overseas placement scams, debt bondage, confiscation of identity documents, or coercive contracts.
- Asking money up front from candidates for a job — including but not limited to training fees, equipment fees, application fees, deposits, kit purchases, or any other charge before genuine employment commences.
- Spamming other members via the messaging, email, or contact channels integrated into AscendurePro.
- Sharing scam links, phishing, malware, or fraudulent investment "opportunities" in announcements, jobs, profiles, or any user-generated content.
- Stalking, harassment, doxxing, or coordinated abuse of any member or staff member, including unwanted contact after a member has indicated they are not interested.
- Sexual harassment or solicitation of any member, especially in a candidate-recruiter context.
- Discrimination in hiring or any platform interaction on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, marital status, or pregnancy. Lawful occupational requirements must be stated transparently.
- Malicious damage to AscendurePro — including unauthorised access attempts, scraping, vulnerability exploitation, denial-of-service, intellectual-property theft, defamation of the brand, or any form of sabotage.
- Misuse of AI outputs generated by AscendurePro to deceive third parties (e.g., submitting an AI-generated resume to misrepresent qualifications you do not possess).
We may report serious breaches of this section to law-enforcement authorities, regulators, or affected third parties without prior notice to you, and in line with our Privacy Policy.
5. Safe & Responsible Use of AI
AscendurePro builders and assistants use third-party AI models. You agree to:
- Treat AI outputs as drafts to review, not as guaranteed truth. AI can make mistakes, fabricate facts, or produce outdated information.
- Verify any factual claim, salary figure, statistic, certification, or company detail before relying on it.
- Use AI outputs for your own career development, learning, hiring, and professional growth — not to deceive third parties about who you are or what you can do.
- Not feed AI builders with confidential third-party material you do not have rights to share (a current employer's strategy doc, another person's private resume, etc.).
- Not attempt to bypass safety guardrails, prompt-inject, or manipulate AI tools to produce harmful content.
- Acknowledge that we may store AI inputs and outputs to improve the platform, in line with our Privacy Policy.
6. Responsibility of AscendurePro
We commit to:
- Operate the platform with reasonable care, modern security practices, and timely maintenance.
- Vet recruiters to a reasonable standard before approving them. We are not, however, an employer or staffing agency, and we do not guarantee that any recruiter or job posting is legitimate.
- Protect your data consistent with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
- Provide clear, transparent pricing and credit accounting. Credits already purchased before a price change remain at the old rate until used.
- Investigate reports of charter breaches in good faith and act proportionally.
- Communicate transparently about outages, AI provider issues, billing problems, and material policy changes.
- Continuously improve the platform — adding tools, builders, and learning resources based on member feedback.
- Respect your right to leave at any time. You can request data deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.
We do not guarantee specific career outcomes, job offers, salary improvements, or that any AI output will be free of errors. AscendurePro is a tool; results depend on your effort, market conditions, and many factors outside our control. See our Disclaimer for the full scope.
7. Enforcement
We may, at our reasonable discretion:
- Issue a written warning,
- Restrict access to specific tools or modules,
- Pause referral payouts pending investigation,
- Suspend or permanently terminate the account,
- Forfeit any unused credits,
- Notify other members or third parties harmed by the breach,
- Cooperate with law enforcement.
For lesser breaches, we will normally give you a chance to respond before acting. For serious or ongoing breaches — especially those listed in Section 4 — we may act immediately.
8. Updates to this Charter
We may update this Charter from time to time. When the changes are material, we will:
- Publish the new version on this page,
- Show a notice on your dashboard,
- Where required, ask you to re-accept the new version.
Continued use of the platform after a material update constitutes acceptance.
9. Contact
Questions, reports of abuse, or breach notifications: please Contact Us. We aim to acknowledge reports within two business days.
By ticking the acceptance box during recruiter application, availability opt-in, or wherever this Charter is referenced — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by it, together with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimer.
